Meet Dr. Chris McAlister

Dr. Chris McAlister hit a crisis in 2008 that turned his world rightside up. His passion for learning how leaders grow and develop led him to complete a doctoral degree at Ashland Seminary on the process of how transformation occurs in all of our lives. This became his life's work.

He now guides ambitious, faith-driven leaders out of the leadership wilderness—the tense place where big challenges collide with deep convictions. While most leadership training is distracted with novelty and fads, Chris guides leaders to the truth by translating ancient wisdom into bottom-line results, helping leaders spot ego drift long before it dents their P&L.

He has authored twelve books, spoken to thousands, and delivered transformational coaching to venture‑fund managers, serial entrepreneurs, small businesses, nonprofit trailblazers, and Fortune 100 executives. Chris and his wife, Brandi, have three daughters and reside in Columbus, Ohio.

Humility In Identity

Leaders “in the arena” are in a process of upgrading their mindset. Like the roots of a tree that need nourishment our mind needs nutrition. We need to work on our worldview so we can connect our thoughts and actions to the meaningful success we seek. We need to know who we are and where we are. Fifteen& isn’t a part of any specific Christian tradition nor is it ideologically committed to any interpretation.

We are Jesus centered and focused. We affirm there are many pathways to Jesus. There is no them only us. You do not need to believe any certain beliefs to join us. Just bring the will to be curious. There is no new truth, just new forms and applications. We want the new wineskins because we want the new wine. We are 3rd worldview leaders.

Leaders “in the arena” are in the process of learning, risking, failing, and winning in small and big ways. There’s decisions to make and direction to figure out. Like the trunk of the tree that needs to bend with the wind and not break we need adaptability. The kingdom of God is within you and ready to come out.

Fifteen& doesn’t tell you God’s path for you but supports you in the discovery of your path with God. For those compelled with a cause the critical factor is discernment.

Leaders “in the arena” know the endgame of leadership isn’t ideas or ideologies but transformed communities. Healthy relationships like the fruit of a tree are a changed world. A changed world is only possible if we build the changed worlds of micro-communities from the bottom up. We prune away the crowded narratives.

We are not liberal or conservative. We are more of a vibe and frequency than neat and tidy categories or labels. Fifteen& seeks the work of God in all things. We want to grow our awareness in the Father’s work as we are made into the image of the Son by the Holy Spirit. Your leadership is a gift to change lives.
